Favio Montenegro is a co-lead on the Public Law team. He specialises in regulatory matters.

Favio has extensive experience helping companies from different economic sectors, such as infrastructure, real estate, construction, agribusiness, retail, industry, mining and environment. He assists his clients with the obtention and enjoyment of licences, permits, and concessions for the conduct of their economic activities, as well as in their vast relationships with the government, such as inspection issues and sanctioning proceedings.

He has broad experience drafting regulations and bills, conducting public policy analysis, improving regulatory quality, and quashing illegal bureaucratic requirements and ‘red tape’. Further, Favio is an Administrative and Regulatory Law Lecturer at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) and the University of Lima.
